Rules

  • Word Count: 500 (or more)

  • Use any one (or more, as the case may be) of your GW2 characters for the story (feel free to include your guildies!)

  • Choose one of the story prompts below

  • Genre: any! (why yes, yes you can write a crackfic)

  • Rating: any! (just... warn us if it's going to be PWP please :P)

  • One entry per person (but feel free to write more than one story!)

  • Deadline for entries is midnight (in your time zone) August 4th

Your Story


  • Omadd's machine offered you a lifetime of discoveries in mere seconds. More than the others could imagine. You're not just the commander the others have known you to be. You've seen what Scarlet Briar had seen: the very same visions which caused an overly curious, brilliant sylvari to crack, to lose herself and her way.

  • Your origins are as important as the decisions you make in your day to day as a commander. This is your life before the day you became the Hero of Shaemoor. What made you who you are today.


  • Tyria is gorgeous this time of year. The sun, the heat, the flowers in full bloom... The summer festival is upon us. Dragon Bash has returned to the fallen city of Lion's Arch. Hopefully nothing will stop the celebrations!
