The Fragile Dragons

The town is quiet but it won't stay that way for long.  Brandy is alone.  She has ingredients and a bottle of booze.  She is happy but figures she might as well go look at the nearby house that is rumored to be a rallying point for other survivors.  Maybe they will have more booze.

She dons a leather motorcycle jacket, brandishes her handy machette and runs across the street and discovers....


Hushikins!  Who could ever say no to Hushikins?  Together they search the house for more supplies.  Even with Hushikins the ranger standing watch they are in trouble here.  No barricades or defenses leave them open to attack... and attacked they are:


They were lucky this time.  It might be time to move on from this place and try to find a place they can more easily defend.  While Brandy stays on watch Hushikins scouts the nearby buildings.  the library looks liek a lost cause for now; atleast 6 zombies inside.  the nearby church.... even worse. 15 inside.  No praying for you two!  While Hushikins was out wandering around Brandy had to face a zombie intruder on her own.  She was lucky this time... hacking it in the head is a hand axe.  The pair decide that the first house that Brandy started in might be the best destination right now.  There was a beacon there that could be used to signal more survivors.  These are two strong independent women but maybe an extra pair of hands would be useful.  The trip back is done in the wee hours of the morning... unfortunately it turns out zombies don't sleep.


Hand axe and machette for the win.  Hushikins puts her ranger skills to use watching for more attacks while Brandy cleans up the rotting zombie corpses.  relationships are going downhill a bit after Hushikins makes some offhand comments that Brandy takes exception to.  I don't know if this is a good time to add another person to the mix but when another survivor comes calling I find it hard to turn them away.  He looks a bit shifty... shall we let him join us?
