The Fragile Dragons

Picking up on things that happened.  Karen and Sarah are getting along great.  they stuck around the house while Drakhen and Atonemay run across the way to the bar.  Mission: Kitchen Impossible is underway!

The broke in, managed to kill 8 zombies but a large crowd of them swarmed around the bar cutting off any chance of retreat.  With no barricades they swept inside and the fighting continued.  They took turns keeping watch and searching the bar.  They found food and ammunition.  But the mob grew.. and grew...

Sarah and Karen getting along so well has had a net positive affect on the whole group.  Meanwhile Atonemay is making smartass comments that Drakhen doesn't appreciate.  The gorwing mob agaisnt an exhausted Drakhen and Atonemay isn't looking good.



Atonemay made good use of the new ammo.  The mob outside was easy pickings for a ranger like her.  Hour after hour they search for supplies and fend off more advances.  Meanwhile the girls are chilling in their home.  Taking showers, playing games, having "girl time".  A lot of messages about how sarah is getting along so well with Karen or Eliana..  all of which is helping fix the relationship status between everyone.  Except for Atonemay and Karen.  It seems there is no fixing that.



And then... a chance to replace Atonemay...  but.. can we really turn away one of our strongest fighters for... this guy??


I'm sorry Karen, but we can not.


I'm sure he'll be alright.  Meanwhile several hours of constant fighting seems to be wearing on Drak and Atonemay.  They've probably killed over aw hundred by now and this mission is seeming like a deathwish.  With the girls starving back at the house and D&A ready to pass out it was time to beat a hasty retreat.  They carried all the food and ammo they could cram into the recovered backpack and managed to get back to the house unscathed.  The girls dove in to the food, barely giving the exhausted warrior a glance.  Bitches.

Also this was the day we learned why experimental traps are experimental.



Through the day D&A did 3 more supply runs before getting to rest.  I'm having Sarah cook up some food while Eliana keeps watch.  Her broken arm shouldn't hurt her eyes.  The rest have been given free time until tomorrow.  Hopefully this house is fortified enough and we have no more experimental explosions.
